at 7:30 AM Lithium technology is taking over conventional Lead Acid batteries now - it is the huge market and will spike further demand for lithium. Auto makers are pushing now for start stop technology in order to reduce emissions during the urban driving cycle. It will be another very important market for the Lithium based batteries apart from Electric Cars and Plug-In Hybrids. Porsche is already using Lithium batteries in some of its models with CEs. The price/quality as always will determine the adoption rate here.
